Step-By-Step Instructions:

Step 1 - Download Android 4.1.1 I9305XXALI5 for Galaxy S3 to your computer and extract the zip file.

Step 2 - Download ODIN v1.85 which will help you to install Android 4.1.1 on Samsung Galaxy S3 I9305.

Step 3 - Switch OFF your phone. Now go to Download Mode. How? Press and hold the Volume Down + Home buttons together, and then press the Power button till you see the construction Android robot and a triangle. Press Power again to confirm to enter into Download Mode.

Step 4 - Make sure you have your Galaxy S3 USB drivers installed on your computer.

Step 5 - Open ODIN on your computer. Connect your phone to your computer while your phone is in the Download Mode.

Step 6 - If your phone is connected successfully, one of the ID:COM boxes will turn yellow with the COM port number. This step might take some time.

Step 7 - Now select the files that you have to flash/install on your phone. These files are to be found from the extracted files in Step 1.

• Click on ‘PDA’ and select file with ‘CODE’ in its name.
• Click on ‘Phone’ and select file with ‘MODEM’ in its name. Ignore this step if there is no such file.
• Click on ‘CSC’ and select file with CSC’ in its name. Ignore this step if there is no such file.
• Click on ‘PIT’ and select the .pit file. Ignore this step if there is no such file.

Step 8 - In ODIN, check the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options. As for the Re-Partition option, check it ONLY if you selected a .PIT file in the above step.

Step 9 - Now click on the Start button in ODIN. Installation process will start and would take a few minutes to complete.

Step 10 - After the installation is completed, your phone will restart. After you see the home screen, unplug your phone from the computer.

That’s it. Your Samsung Galaxy S III LTE has now been updated to Android 4.1.1 build XXALI5 firmware update. Go to Settings > About phone to verify.

How to Install ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM) on Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300

• The process may result in losing all of your data like apps, messages, contacts etc. So first of all take back up of all data to work risk-free.
• Uninstall the antivirus from device (if any).
• Don’t let the power of the device to create any problem for you. So keep your device charged at least 50 percent.
• Download the ClockworkMod from here.
• Download Odin v3.04 from here

How to Update Galaxy S2 GT I9100 with Official ICS XWLPX 4.0.4 Firmware

Procedure to Update Galaxy S2 with ICS XWLPX Firmware:

• Download XWLPX Firmware Package and Odin from here to your computer. Once downloaded, extract both the zip files preferably to the desktop. Now, turn off the computer so that it can be then entered in the download mode.

• Download mode in Galaxy S II GT I9100 can be entered by pressing Volume down Key, Center button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button after which a green robot will be shown indicating the Download Mode has been entered.

After XXLRK firmware update, it’s time for XXLRQ ICS 4.0.4 for Galaxy NOTE N7000 which comes with advanced features and stable Modem. Procedure to Update T Mobile Galaxy Tab 7.7 with Official ICS Update:

How to Enable Phone Calling Feature in Galaxy Tab 10.1 / 750 – Tutorial

 

Procedure to Enable Voice Calling in Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 TABLET:

• Download XXLQ3 Modem Package & Voice Calling Zip Package (For users on Stock ICS 4.0.4 Firmware) from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your Galaxy Tab to the computer with the help of original USB cable and place the two downloaded zip files in the device.

• Once placed, disconnect the device from computer. Download “ROM Manager” app from the Google PLAY Store and install the custom recovery image by selecting the appropriate option in the ROM Manager app.

• Now, once the Clock Work Mod recovery gets installed, turn off the tablet so that it can be entered in the recovery mode. Recovery Mode in Galaxy Tab 750 can be entered by pressing the Left Volume Button and Power button till the device boots up in the recovery mode. If the device boots in the normal mode then retry the process of entering the device in the recovery mode.

• You can also try entering the device in the recovery mode via the ROM Manager app itself. Select “install zip from sdcard”, then select “choose zip from sdcard” and navigate the files to select XXLQ3 Modem Package & then the Voice Calling Zip Package which you have placed in your tablet.

• Once the file selection is over, the workaround will be applied within 10 minutes, you can see the progress of update with the help of a progress bar.

Note: If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, just re insert the battery and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.

Procedure to Update Galaxy S3 with Jellybean 4.1.1 XXDLI6 firmware update:

• Download Odin and XXDLI6 Firmware Package from here to your computer. Extract both the files in your computer and open Odin in your computer.

• Turn off your S3 so that it can be turned ON in the download mode. Download mode in Galaxy S3 GT I9300 can be entered by pressing the Volume Down rocker key + power button at the same time while the device is turned Off. If the device starts in the normal mode, you need to re try the process of the entering the device into the download mode.

• In download mode, connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable and click on “PDA” in Odin to select the tar file “I9300XXDLI5_I9300OXADLI5_I9300XXDLI5_HOME.tar.md5”. Ensure that the ID : COM section in Odin has turned yellow.

Note: If ID : COM section doesn’t turn Yellow, you need to check with two things which are mentioned below,

            Install the USB Drivers in your computer &

            Go to the Path “Settings > Wireless & Network > USB Settings” and ensure that “Samsung KIES” option is ticked before connecting the phone to the computer.

• Click on “Ok” to start the process of firmware update. As soon as the firmware is updated successfully, the phone will reboot automatically. Please note that it may take longer time than expected for rebooting the device as it’s the first reboot after the firmware update.

Note: If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, just re insert the battery and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.

Procedure to Update Galaxy GIO S5660 with MIUI 2.4.20 Firmware:

• Download the MIUI 2.4.20 Firmware Package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your phone to the computer with thehelp of original USB cable and place these two files in your Galaxy GIO.

• Disconnect the USB Cable and turn off the same so that it can be entered in the recovery mode. The recovery mode in the Galaxy GIO S5660 can be entered by Holding Menu Button and then Power ON the device. If the device turns ON in the normal mode then you need to try again to enter into the recovery mode. Additionally, you can also enter the Galaxy GIO in the recovery mode from the ROM Manager app.

• In the recovery mode, you need to select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the MIUI 2.4.20 Zip file which is placed in the phone.

• Once the update process is completed, the device will again land back to the recovery screen. In the recovery screen, select “++++ Go Back ++++” and then choose the option of “reboot system now” for rebooting the system. If the phone refuses to show the home screen even after 5 minutes of restart, you need to then reinsert the battery.

• Disconnect the device once the file is copied in the computer and turn off the device so that it can be entered in the recovery mode. Recovery mode in Galaxy S III GT I9300 can be entered by holding the Volume Up button + the Home key button (the middle button).

• In recovery mode, select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the placed XXDLI7 Firmware Package. Once the file selection is over, the firmware will be applied within 10 minutes, you can see the progress of firmware update with the help of a progress bar.

• As soon as the firmware is applied successfully, you will have to select “Go Back” to select the option of “reboot system now” for rebooting the device in the normal mode.

Note: Just in a rare case if your Samsung Galaxy S III refuses to turn ON or say if it gets stuck on the Samsung Galaxy S3 Logo then you need to long press the power button to turn off the same or re insert the battery to start the process from the start.

• If you get any force close errors, then turn off the device and enter the device in the recovery mode to select the options of clear cache and wipe data as it will clear out all the cache data which are responsible for force close errors.

To check now on whether the firmware has been updated or not, head over to the path “Settings > About Phone” and see whether it reads XXDLI7 firmware version 4.1.1 or not.
