Verizon Wireless today also unearthed the Samsung Convoy, a rugged Push-to-Talk was built to meet military specifications to withstand the harshest of elements. Samsung Convoy looks just like one of those ugly Nextel phones that are designed for on-field workers.
Samsung Convoy features a long battery life, Push to Talk capabilities that leverage Verizon Wireless’ Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) Revision A (Rev. A), VZ navigator (GPS navigation), 2-MP digital camera, and stereo speaker.
Samsung Convoy will be available Nov. 15 for $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement with Verizon Wireless.
