HTC Touch Diamond2

HTC is following up on its ultra-sexy touchphone, the Touch Diamond, with the new Touch Diamond2, which seems quite worthy of the title of successor. This time around there’s much more room for screen, with a huge 3.2-inch 480 x 800 LCD up front, and around back there’s a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus.

While smaller than the two aforementioned touch-screen smartphones, the Touch Diamond2 is ever so slightly bigger and heavier than its predecessor, at 4.25 inches high by 2.09 inches wide by 0.54 inch thick and 4.15 ounces (compared with 4 inches by 2 inches by 0.6 inch and 4 ounces). However, it still has a slim-enough profile that you should be able to slip it into a pants pocket with no problem.

There’s also the new version of TouchFLO 3D running on Windows Mobile, but under the hood there’s the same old 528MHz processor, and the whole kit is actually a tad thicker a 0.54-inches.

Still, memory is up to 512MB ROM and 288MB RAM, and if HTC keeps hoisting pixels and sexy on us at this rate we can hardly complain.

The smartphone uses HTC’s TouchFlo 3D interface, which, on first glance, looks to be the same as the company’s previous Touch devices. However, once you dig deeper into the menus, you will notice some changes and added functionality. For one, you now get tabs for your calendar and stock quotes, and HTC has provided an extra level of customization by allowing you to rearrange and remove tabs on your Home screen via the Settings menu. People are very happy with such a phone.

HTC Desire just passed the FCC and got its Wi-Fi certification (PDF)! none of the documents are particularly revealing, but they do provide reassurance to Verizon customers eagerly awaiting Android that they’ll have some options.

HTC wrapped up confidentiality on External Photos, Internal Photos, Test Setup Photos and User Manual that last through December 31st, 2009 ensuring that we’re left with very little to nibble on.

AT&T Tilt 2 is HTC Touch Pro2 cell phone, AT&T will give us something more to choose from, but this is a good start. The AT&T Tilt 2 (HTC Touch Pro2) is almost here , maybe on October 6th or October 18th. I seriously could not wait any longer, been watching/waiting for this device for months. Ordered from Sprint last night, with various discounts, rebates, invoice credits, referral gift cards etc..

AT&T Tilt 2 will have a 3.5mm jack and running latest Windowns Mobile 6.5 OS, AT&T fans can now take solace in knowing they’ll be rocking WinMo 6.5 while other Pro2 owners are busy trying to upgrade.

HTC Predator looks like a sweet phone, I’m very interested in the Verizon HTC predator. The Android world is finally shaping up like we thought it would with some really great looking phones and software builds coming out all the time. New Verizon Phones - Verizon Wireless has needed this for a long time. The Verizon HTC Predator is coming soon, maybe on October 2009. The first time i’ll get truly excited about a new HTC Android phone is when i dont see either Qualcomm or 528MHz in the article. The Android phones coming out now are using the exact same hardware. The Hero sounds great, as does Touch UI, but HTC is still messing with us and pushing their tech too far.
