Step-By-Step Instructions:
Step 1 - Download Android 4.1.1 I9305XXALI5 for Galaxy S3 to your computer and extract the zip file.
Step 2 - Download ODIN v1.85 which will help you to install Android 4.1.1 on Samsung Galaxy S3 I9305.
Step 3 - Switch OFF your phone. Now go to Download Mode. How? Press and hold the Volume Down + Home buttons together, and then press the Power button till you see the construction Android robot and a triangle. Press Power again to confirm to enter into Download Mode.
Step 4 - Make sure you have your Galaxy S3 USB drivers installed on your computer.
Step 5 - Open ODIN on your computer. Connect your phone to your computer while your phone is in the Download Mode.
Step 6 - If your phone is connected successfully, one of the ID:COM boxes will turn yellow with the COM port number. This step might take some time.
Step 7 - Now select the files that you have to flash/install on your phone. These files are to be found from the extracted files in Step 1.
  • Click on ‘PDA’ and select file with ‘CODE’ in its name.
  • Click on ‘Phone’ and select file with ‘MODEM’ in its name. Ignore this step if there is no such file.
  • Click on ‘CSC’ and select file with CSC’ in its name. Ignore this step if there is no such file.
  • Click on ‘PIT’ and select the .pit file. Ignore this step if there is no such file.
Step 8 - In ODIN, check the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options. As for the Re-Partition option, check it ONLY if you selected a .PIT file in the above step.
Step 9 - Now click on the Start button in ODIN. Installation process will start and would take a few minutes to complete.
Step 10 - After the installation is completed, your phone will restart. After you see the home screen, unplug your phone from the computer.
That’s it. Your Samsung Galaxy S III LTE has now been updated to Android 4.1.1 build XXALI5 firmware update. Go to Settings > About phone to verify.

How to Update Galaxy GIO S5660 with XWKT7 based Adrenaline Custom ROM Firmware

Procedure to Update Galaxy GIO S5660 with Adrenaline Firmware:
  • Disconnect the phone from computer and turn Off the device so that it can be entered in the recovery mode. The recovery mode in the Galaxy GIO S5660 can be entered by Holding Menu Button and then Power ON the device. If the device turns ON in the normal mode then you need to try again to enter into the recovery mode. Additionally, you can also enter the Galaxy GIO in the recovery mode from the ROM Manager app.

How to Install ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM) on Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300


  • The process may result in losing all of your data like apps, messages, contacts etc. So first of all take back up of all data to work risk-free.
  • Uninstall the antivirus from device (if any).
  • Don’t let the power of the device to create any problem for you. So keep your device charged at least 50 percent.
  • Download the ClockworkMod from here.
  • Download Odin v3.04 from here
  • Extract Odin3_v3.04.zip
  • Enter your Galaxy S3 into download mode by pressing the Volume Down + Power + Home buttons together.
  • Now connect your Galaxy S3-I9300 to your computer by using USB cable.
  • On successful attachment, you will see the “Added” message in Odin window.
  • In Odin, click the PDA button and select the ClockworkMod.zip file from there.
  • In the Odin, click on ‘Start’ button in order to start the flashing of ClockworkMod recovery image on your Galaxy S3-I9300.
  • When the flashing gets completed, your Galaxy S3 will reboot automatically.
  • You can disconnect your Galaxy S3 from PC after the Samsung Logo gets appeared.
  • To enter into the recovery mode, press Home and Volume Up buttons.

How to Update Galaxy S2 GT I9100 with Official ICS XWLPX 4.0.4 Firmware

Procedure to Update Galaxy S2 with ICS XWLPX Firmware:
  • Download XWLPX Firmware Package and Odin from here to your computer. Once downloaded, extract both the zip files preferably to the desktop. Now, turn off the computer so that it can be then entered in the download mode.
  • Download mode in Galaxy S II GT I9100 can be entered by pressing Volume down Key, Center button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button after which a green robot will be shown indicating the Download Mode has been entered.
  • Open Odin in your computer. Connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable and then you will see that the ID : COM Section will turn Yellow.
Note: If ID : COM section doesn’t turn Yellow, you need to check with two things which are mentioned below,
  • Install the USB Drivers in your computer &
  • Go to the Path “Settings > Wireless & Network > USB Settings” and ensure that “Samsung KIES” option is ticked before connecting the phone to the computer.
  • Click on “PDA” and select the tar file which you got after extracting the firmware update package. After selecting the PDA file, click on “Start” to start the process of firmware update. As soon as the device is updated successfully, the device will be restarted. As soon as you see the home screen or language preference setting options, you can then disconnect the device and turn Off the device in the recovery mode.
  • Recovery mode in Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 can be entered by holding the Volume Up button + the Home key button (the middle button). While holding these both buttons, turn ON your device.
  • In recovery mode, select “Wipe data/factory reset” & “Wipe Cache partition” for clearing out all the cache data present in your device. Once it’s done, select “reboot system now”. As soon as the device is rebooted, you can check the same whether the firmware update has been applied or not from the path “Settings > About phone > Firmware version” where it will be mentioned as XWLPX.
Note: Just in a rare case if the device is not updated and it gets into the boot loop mode, you need to again clear the cache from the recovery mode and retry the whole process from the start.

Procedure to Update Galaxy ACE S5830i with Simplicity Custom ROM Firmware:
  • Download Simplicity Firmware Package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your Samsung Galaxy ACE 5830i with the computer and place this file in your device.
  • After placing the files, disconnect the Galaxy ACE 5830i device and turn off the device so that it can be entered in the recovery mode. Ensure that you haven’t placed the zip file deep into the sub folders.
  • The recovery mode in the Galaxy ACE S5830i can be entered by Holding Menu Button and then Power ON the device. If the device turns ON in the normal mode then you need to try again to enter into the recovery mode. You can also enter the device in the recovery mode from the “ROM Manager” app which you can download from the Google PLAY Store.
  • In the recovery mode, you need to select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the Simplicity Firmware Package which you have placed in the phone. Once the file is selected, it will take around 4 -5 minutes for applying the same. Please note that it will take more than normal time for rebooting the device for the first time. Just in case if the device refuses to boot up, all you need to do is to just enter the device in the recovery mode and wipe all the cache and data from the recovery mode.
Once it’s done, the device will be restarted and bingo there you go, you have now successfully learnt on how to apply this Gingerbread based Simplicity custom ROM firmware in your device.
