Procedure to Update Galaxy S2 GT I9100 with Omega 15 Custom ROM Firmware:
  • Download the Omega 15 Custom ROM firmware package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your phone to the compute with the help of original USB cable and place the zip file in your phone.
  • Now, disconnect the device and turn off the same so that it can be entered in the recovery mode. You can enter the device in the recovery mode via the ROM Manager app or manually. To enter recovery mode manually, press Volume Up Key + Menu button and then press the Power button to enter the device in the recovery mode. If the device boots up in the normal mode, then again follow the above steps so as to boot the device in the recovery mode.
  • Now, in recovery mode select “Wipe Cache” and “Wipe data/factory reset” so as to make sure that all the data is wiped off successfully or else you may get errors like Force Close. Now, select “install zip from internal sd card” to get an array of files which are there in your device. Select the Omega 15 Firmware Zip file which you have placed in your phone with the help of Volume keys and power button.
  • Now, wait for the firmware update to get applied successfully and once its done the phone will land up in the recovery mode screen where all you need to do is to just select the option of “reboot system now” for rebooting the device normally.
  • Please note that it may take longer time than expected for rebooting the device. If the device gets stuck in the S Logo for longer period of time then you need to re insert the battery and re follow all the above mentioned instructions.

Procedure to Install Ehndroix custom ROM firmware in Galaxy S GT I9001 PLUS:
  • Download the Ehndroix custom ROM firmware along with the Add On package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, you will then have to connect your Galaxy S GT I9001 PLUS device to computer with the help of original USB cable and place these two zip files in your device.
  • Disconnect  the device and turn off the same so that it can be entered in the recovery mode. Recovery mode in Galaxy S PLUS I9001 can be entered by holding the Volume Up button + the Home key button (the middle button). While holding these both buttons, turn ON your device.
  • In recovery mode, select “Wipe data/factory reset” & “Wipe Cache partition”. Additionally, select “advanced” and clear the Dalvik cache too if you are on the custom ROM firmware.
  • Now, select “Go Back” and select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from internal sd card” and then select the Ehndroix custom ROM firmware first and then the Add On package which you have placed in your phone.
  • Once selected, it will take around 5 -6 minutes for applying this update. Also, for the first boot it will take more time than usual as it has to setup all the system files and other apps which are necessary ones. Ensure that you have cleared the cache in your device as it will wipe all the unwanted data from the recovery mode just in case if you face any force close issues in any of the Google Apps or the core apps present in your device.
Note: If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, just re insert the battery and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.

  • The process may result in losing all of your data like apps, messages, contacts etc. So first of all take back up of all data to work risk-free.
  • Uninstall the antivirus from device (if any).
  • Don’t let the power of the device to create any problem for you. So keep your device charged at least 50 percent.
  • Install ClockworkMod recovery on your phone.
  • Download the zip file of the  ROM here.
  • Download GAPPS.zip from here.
  • Make sure to save  files on internal SD card of phone.
  • Press the VOL DOWN + HOME + POWER buttons to enter into the recovery mode.
  • You can scroll through the options by pressing Volume Up and Down button. To make selection of any option, press the Power button.
  • Now select the ‘Install Zip From SD Card’ option and choose the .zip file of the ROM from your SD card.
  • Select ‘Yes, Install__.zip’  to proceed further with the process.
  • The whole process is done. Be patient for the update to get completed. Generally it takes about 2-3 minutes.
  • Follow the last three steps to install GAPPS.zip on your AT&T Galaxy S3.
  • After the reboot, your AT&T Galaxy S3 will be running on MIUI Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean ROM.

Procedure to Update Samsung Fascinate with AOKP Based Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware Update:
  • Disconnect the device and turn off the phone so that it can be entered in the recovery mode. You can also enter into the recovery mode with the help of the ROM Manager app which you can download from the Google PLAY Store.
  • Samsung Fascinate smartphone can be entered in the recovery mode pressing and holding the Volume Up + Volume Down and then press the Power button to enter the device in the recovery mode. In recovery mode, you need to select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” to select the Jellybean 4.1.1 firmware package and then the Google Apps package.
  • Once the file is selected, it will take around 4 -5 minutes for applying the update. It will take longer time than expected for the device to reboot as it’s the first time the device will be booted. It may get stuck on the Samsung or VZW Logo for quite a while.
Note: If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, just re insert the battery and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.

  • The process may result in losing all of your data like apps, messages, contacts etc. So first of all take back up of all data to work risk-free.
  • Uninstall the antivirus from device (if any).
  • Don’t let the power of the device to create any problem for you. So keep your device charged at least 50 percent.
  • Install ClockworkMod recovery on your phone.
  • Download Root Kernel from here.
  • Download Odin from here.
  • Press Volume Down + Home buttons to enter into Download Mode.
  • Open Odin on computer and attach your phone with your computer. The ID:COM yellow box ensures the successful attachment.
  • Start the Kernel file and click on ‘PDA’ and select the GL_NOTECORE_v13_OC.tar file.
  • Click Start in Odin to start the installation process.

How To install CM10 (JellyBean) with a kexec compatible recovery


1. Copy the d2vzw_recovery.img, cm10 rom, and gapps to the root of the internal sd card (not the ext-sd card)


2. download terminal emulator from google play and run it


3. (This will install the k-exec compatible cwm recovery)

(Skip if Recovery is already installed)
type the following commands
su
dd if=/sdcard/d2vzw_recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p18 bs=256k
sync
reboot recovery

4. Once in the new recovery, make a backup of current stock rom just in case something goes wrong or you dont like it.


5. Wipe data, cache, dalvic cache and install cm10 and gapps reboot.


6. You are now running Jelly Bean

How to Update AT&T Galaxy S3 with Parandroid Custom ROM firmware

Procedure to Update AT&T Galaxy S III with Parandroid Custom ROM Firmware:
  • Before proceeding you need to ensure that your Galaxy S III is rooted. To check, you need to download the “Root Checker” app from Google PLAY Store. This firmware can only be applied on the rooted devices and not on the non rooted devices.
  • Download the Parandroid Custom ROM Firmware Package & Google Apps Package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your device to the computer with the help of USB cable and place these two zip files in the device. Ensure that you are not placing the files deep into the sub folders.
  • Now, disconnect the device and turn off the device so that it can be entered in the recovery mode. Galaxy S3 can be entered in the recovery mode by pressing the Volume Up Key, Center button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button.

    How to Update Galaxy Note N7000 with ICS 4.0.4 Rocket ROM Firmware


    Procedure to Update Rocket ROM Firmware in your Galaxy Note N7000:
  • Download the Rocket ROM Firmware Package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your Galaxy Note to the computer with the help of Original USB cable and then place this zip file in your device.
  • Once the file is copied, disconnect the device and turn off the device so that it can be entered in the recovery mode.
  • Galaxy Note N7000 can be entered in the recovery mode by pressing Volume Down Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. Now, a Warning message will be shown when you need to press the Volume Down key to continue entering the Recovery Mode.
  • Select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and select the Rocket ROM Firmware Package. It will take around 6 – 8 minutes for applying this update. How to Update Samsung Galaxy ACE S5830i with Retribution Custom ROM Firmware

Procedure to update Retribution Custom ROM Firmware in your Galaxy ACE S5830i:
  • Before proceeding, ensure that your Galaxy ACE S5830i is rooted, if its not rooted then you will have to root the same. To check on whether the device is rooted or not, you can download “Root Checker” app from the Google PLAY Store.
  • Download Retribution Custom ROM Firmware package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your phone to the computer and place this zip file in your device. Ensure that you are not placing the file deep into the device.
  • Once the file is copied, you now need to disconnect the device and turn Off the phone so that it can be entered in the recovery mode.
  • The recovery mode in the Galaxy ACE S5830i can be entered by Holding Menu Button and then Power ON the device. If the device turns ON in the normal mode then you need to try again to enter into the recovery mode.
  • In the recovery mode, you need to select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the Retribution Custom ROM Firmware Zip file which is placed in the phone.
  • Once the file is selected, it will take 4 -5 minutes for applying this update. Once the update is applied, the device will land back to the recovery mode screen, in recovery mode screen select “reboot system now” by selecting “Go back” option with the help of Volume keys and power button. How to Update Galaxy S PLUS I9001 with ICS Nexus Styled Custom ROM Firmware

Procedure to Update Galaxy S PLUS I9001 with My Simple ROM Firmware:
  • Download My Simple Custom ROM firmware Package in your computer. Once downloaded, connect your Galaxy S PLUS I9001 from here to your computer and place the downloaded zip file in your phone, Ensure that you are not placing the zip file deep into the sub folders.
  • Disconnect the device and turn off the device so that it can be then entered in the recovery mode.
  • Recovery mode in Galaxy S PLUS I9001 can be entered by holding the Volume Up button + the Home key button (the middle button). While holding these both buttons, turn ON your device.     How to Update Nexus S with JRO03H Jellybean 4.1 based Androxide Firmware


    Procedure to Update Nexus S with Androxide Jellybean 4.1 Firmware:
  • Download Jellybean 4.1 Androxide Custom ROM Firmware Zip and Google Apps Package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable and place these two zip files in your device. Ensure that you are not placing the files deep into the sub folders.
  • Once you have placed these two files, disconnect the device and turn off the device so that it can be entered in the recovery mode via boot loader mode.
  • To enter into the Boot loader Mode in your Nexus S, hold Volume Up rocker key and then Press the power button to turn on into the boot loader mode. Now, select “Recovery” and press the power button to enter the same after which you will see that the warning triangle will appear.
  • Now press the power button and press the Volume Up button to select “apply update from /sdcard” and choose the Androxide Custom ROM Firmware Zip Package and then the Google Apps Zip Package which you have placed in your device.
  • Once the update is applied successfully, you now need to select “Go Back” and select “reboot system now” for rebooting the Nexus S.
Optional Step (For Users Facing Force Close Errors):
  • If you are facing force close errors, then you need to turn Off the battery and then enter the device in the recovery mode via Boot loader mode as shown above.
  • In recovery mode, select Wipe data/factory reset and also you need to select Wipe Cache partition and then reboot your device by selecting reboot system now with the help of Volume rocker keys. Once it’s done, you then will have to select the option of “reboot system now” for restarting the device.
Tip: Just in case if due to some reasons if the update process gets failed or interrupted, then you need to apply the update again by following the steps again from the start. Don’t forget to restore the backup which you have taken in the initial steps.

How to Update Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100G with AOKP based Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware

Procedure to Update Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100G AOKP based Jellybean 4.1.1 Firmware:

How to Install CyanogenMod 10 (CM10) Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean ROM on the Galaxy Tab 2.7.0


  • The process may result in losing all of your data like apps, messages, contacts etc. So first of all take back up of all data to work risk-free.
  • Uninstall the antivirus from device (if any).
  • Don’t let the power of the device to create any problem for you. So keep your device charged at least 50 percent.
  • Install ClockworkMod recovery on your phone.
  • Download the zip file of the CM10 ROM for your Galaxy Tab 2.7.0 from here.
  • Download the .zip file of the Google Apps Package or GAPPS from here.
  • Make sure to save both the files on internal SD card of phone.
  • Press the VOL DOWN + HOME + POWER buttons to enter into the recovery mode.
  • Now select the ‘Install Zip From SD Card’ option and choose the .zip file of the ROM from your SD card.
  • Select ‘Yes, Install__.zip’  to proceed further with the process.
  • You can install the GAPPS.zip in the same way by booting your phone into ClockworkMod recovery.
  • Reboot the phone and now it will be running on CM 10 based on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.
